I used a silver plated bezel setting and filled it with natural assorted color spinel crystals. This comes with a 24 inch 925 silver filled chain. I have stabilized the crystals inside the setting with resin. These spinels are from Luc Yen, Vietnam. They are in shades of pink, red and purple.

They are very similar to rubies and sapphires and are often confused with them. Spinels are more rare than rubies or sapphires, and so are not often used in gemstone jewelry.
