Glow in the Dark Glass Skull Quartz Crystal Bullet Jewelry Pendant

  • $ 3450

I attached a glow in the dark glass skull bead to a recycled 32 caliber silver bullet shell casing. I added a natural phantom quartz crystal point and a silver skeleton hand to the shell casing. This comes with a 24 inch oxidized silver chain. The skull glows in the dark and also under black light.

Human skulls have a greater visual appeal than the other bones of the human skeleton, and can fascinate even as they repel. Our present society predominantly associates skulls with death and evil. However, to some ancient societies it is believed to have had the opposite association, where objects like crystal skulls represented life.

The Celts saw the skull as the seat of power and the house of the soul. Skulls are the main symbol of the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday. The skull was often carved on early New England tombstones as a symbol of mortality, but the skull was often backed by a pair of wings, perhaps an indication immortality as well.

Phantom quartz is a quartz crystal that has inclusions inside that reveal the layers formed earlier in the life of the crystal. Black quartz has inclusions of other minerals such as hematite. This type of quartz combines the power properties of clear quartz along with the grounding that black quartz provides. This makes them a great stone to wear.

Phantom quartz can increase creativity and provide inspiration for new ideas. They can help with access to past lives and aid in recovery of lost memories. By allowing us to put the past into perspective, phantoms can bring clarity to both past and future life issues.

An original Beautiful Bullets design. I have been creating bullet jewelry since 2009 and have designed over a hundred different styles and types. I use recycled bullet shell casings, metal filigrees, Swarovski crystals, natural gemstones and vintage glass. All of the bullet casings I use are recycled so please allow for variations and small imperfections.

I started my bullet jewelry line as a peace project, and I continue to donate part of the sale to different charities. I have sent donations to the Peace Corps, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, and the USO. Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of these designs and made that possible.
